I am a competitive marathon runner and fitness instructor who struggled with adrenal fatigue for four years before finally being diagnosed as Stage 3. I stumbled across your paper on overtraining on the cnelm.com site and was wondering if you might email me. I am now struggling to get back to normal and would love to talk to you about your experience with this.
I have recently read the Ben Dirs BBC blog about nutrition which mentions Matt’s name. I am 6’2″ and about 12stone 6lbs, I am not big but carry all my fat around my stomach, I am now 34 and really looking to get myself in shape and put on some muscle to prove to myself I can do it! I have trawled the internet and have become bogged down with info that is no help, I now realise it is all about nutrition. What info or literature from you guys do I need to buy to make this possible, I ask this as I am not sure I need a fat building book, does this just concentrate on the fat and not muscle gain? I am really looking for meal suggestions, how often and the type of exercise required (I don’t really want to become a slave to loads of supplements etc … but if they are totally required then so be it)
I have an interest in studying sports nutrition, and considering graduate work in London, or near by areas ( I reside in the states). I wanted to ask you if you could recommend a school or a specific program?
