Liver a sports nutrition super food

Liver is one of those cuts of meat that’s gone out of favour for 20-40 somehtings, it’s the type of food that our grandparents are really keen on having eaten it during the war when there was not much meat around.  Liver really is a superfood and if I’ve got aything to do with it, it’ll be coming back into fashion.

I prefer organic lambs liver it’s really high in iron and if you are deficient in iron your sporting performance will be suffereing no doubt about that because iron is an essential component of haemoglobin which carries oxygen in the blood.
