Vitamin D Vs Type 2 Diabetes
By Matt LovellA study of 1,972 subjects ( 133 of which were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes after a 7 year follow-up), vitamin D status was found to be associated with a lower risk of the disease. Subjects with the highest vitamin D status were 40% less likely to have the disease after other possible causes were mathematically accounted for.
What can you do?
Vitamin D is a funny ol’ vitamin, being one of the few where levels of blood markers can mean vastly different things in different individuals.
