Matt,
What was the chinese herb brew remedy you recommended on your vlog and where can you get it (useful one to have in the larder)?

Hey Robin.
we can get you the herb blend – but you'd need to complete a questionnaire for symptoms – then we can prepare it for you to your needs.
was it the immune based one or general tonic?

Hi Matt,
It was the immune based one that you featured which I was interested in.

I´d also be interested in the chinese herb brew, but I live in Spain so not sure if you can deliver here – I am constantly falling ill after exercise and am not quite sure what I´m doing wrong.

Hi Matt
I need some urgent advice. I know you´re probably busy with the England rugby team so forgive me trying to steal your time.
I´m running a half-marathon on Oct 2nd, in two days, but I´ve come down with a cold, probably due to over-training. I´ve got a sore throat and my glands feel a little swollen. My nose is also running and I feel generally under the weather.
I´m taking your hot lemon juice recipe and I have chia seeds among other things to eat, which cover a lot of the amino acids you mention in the Immune System Fight Back book.
Is there anything else I can do to reduce or alleviate the symptoms. I really must run this race!
Thanks
Martyn

mate! sorry to hear that, as long as it’s a head cold you should be ok.
I would not advise running with a chest cold or any kind of fever – if in doubt ask your GP.
because you have no time to get specialist stuff in – I would pop to local chemist and get vitamin C – and echinacea. Take 1 gram of vitamin C each hour until you get lose stools then stop and resume the next day at 1 gram less. Take as much echinacea as you can, aiming for 1 gram each hour. keep on the honey and lemon – get some manuka honey too. If you can find some zinc losengers take these too for 2-3 days but eat food before taking them. You need 75mg of zinc each day from losengers FOR ONLY THE TIME YOU ARE ILL – then cut back to a normal amount around 15-25mg per day from all sources.
let me know how you get along.

Hi Matt
Well I bought everything you said, apart from the zinc which I couldn´t get hold of in 75mg. I can only get 15mg tablets.
I started to feel a bit better last night but now I´m feeling under the weather again…I´m continuing with the Vit C and the echinacea. I can´t find Manuka Honey either.
Race is tomorrow morning, I don´t have fever, but my throat feels really sore and I think it´s this that´s making me feel generally unwell.
Cheers
Martyn

Hi Matt
It worked!!! I spent all Friday and most of Saturday battling it, but by Saturday evening I felt so much better. And I ran a pretty good race on Sunday.
Even without the Zinc, all went well. Now i just need to recover!
Thanks for all the advice!

Matt
Just out of interest, you mention ´specialist stuff´ in one of your replies above. Could you give me more detail please in case of future illness?
Thanks

hi mate, specialist stuff would include – goldenseal, astragalus – colostrum – hyper immunised bovine serum and colostrum, hyper immunized chicken eggs protein stuff like that….
